What PAPIR Offers
Continuing Education and Knowledge Exchange
One of PAPIR’s primary goals is to facilitate continuing education among its members through the exchange of clinical and scientific knowledge. Educational activities may include topic-based lectures, current literature review, clinical case presentations, presentation rehearsals as well as opportunities to practice and receive feedback before professional or academic presentations. The goal is to create an informal and supportive environment where members can learn from one another and share their expertise.
Sharing Experiences in Continuing Education
PAPIR provides a platform for members to share their experiences from continuing education courses. With the numerous courses and educational opportunities available to dental professionals, it can be difficult to determine which programs truly provide value. Honest feedback and first-hand experiences from colleagues who have attended these courses can help members make more informed decisions about their continuing education.
Professional and Research Networking
An important goal of PAPIR is to strengthen professional and research networks and facilitate meaningful collaborations. The Academy creates opportunities to share positions in private practice, hospitals, universities, and other healthcare settings. PAPIR also seeks to facilitate research collaborations by connecting researchers and clinicians who are looking for collaborators with members interested in contributing to ongoing or future research projects. Through these connections, PAPIR aims to match professional and research needs with the expertise, interests, and opportunities available within the community.
Active Participation
PAPIR is intended to be an active community rather than a passive professional group. To encourage participation and knowledge sharing, new members are invited to prepare and present a lecture of their choice related to their professional interests.
